HEARTSONG LIVING ARTS

Harvest Festival & Open House

A Celebration of Harvest, Remembrance & the Turning Year

OCTOBER 30, 2026 · 1:00–4:00 PM

A Season of Gathering

As autumn settles over Heartsong, we gather to celebrate the abundance of the harvest and the beauty of the changing seasons.

Among the forest, creek, gardens, and classrooms, we welcome a time of gratitude, remembrance, and connection.

Inspired by the traditions of Samhain and Día de los Muertos, our Harvest Festival invites families to honor those who came before us, share stories, and celebrate the rhythms of nature and community.

Throughout the Day

Wander through the Heartsong campus and enjoy a variety of seasonal activities, meaningful traditions, and opportunities to connect with our community. Families are welcome to join in costume!

Celebrate the harvest by making fire cider with warming roots, herbs, and fruits. Press fresh apples into cider and help plant garlic and horseradish in the garden.

Bring seeds to share and exchange with other families while exploring our K1–2 learning space.

Step inside our early childhood classroom, meet the teachers, and enjoy a seasonal handcraft inspired by nature.

Gather beneath the oak tree for a story with the Wise Woman of the Woods. Children will be invited to choose a small treasure contributed by our community.

Honor loved ones by bringing a photograph, memento, or written remembrance for our ancestor altar. Share a seasonal dish and gather with families around the harvest table.

Explore the campus and discover seasonal treats and gifts shared by Heartsong teachers and community members, with help from our middle school students.

Experience Heartsong

More Than a Festival. A Place to Belong.

Our Harvest Festival is also an opportunity to experience the heart of Heartsong.

We warmly welcome friends, neighbors, and families who are new to our community to explore our classrooms and gardens, meet our teachers and families, and experience the wonder of learning and growing together.
