HEARTSONG’S 2026 ANNUAL APPEAL BEGINS

Help us build this village

Our Annual Appeal is officially underway, and every gift helps keep Heartsong's doors open to the children who belong here.

Heartsong grows thanks to the dedication of our teachers—who show up with heart in rain, sun, or snow—our wonderful parent volunteers, and our generous community.

Our growing village exists and thrives because of this shared commitment.

Our goal is to raise $25,000 to replenish our Scholarship Fund and meet essential campus needs.

These funds will support:

  • Scholarships

    For the 2026–2027 school year

Half of our students attend Heartsong with scholarship support, made possible by last year's donors. This year, our goal supports the equivalent of two full Grades scholarships, so that Heartsong can continue to grow and more children can be part of our community. We believe every child deserves an outdoor, hands-on education grounded in nature, rhythm and belonging. Each scholarship represents a child who belongs here, in a village that values both heart and mind.

  • Our Garden Campus

Warmth for winter, shelter for learning

As we move into our second year at our garden campus, the land keeps asking for our care. Heartsong runs on wood heat, and firewood keeps our classrooms warm through the cold months. Materials for outdoor structures give the children places to gather, build, rest and learn, whatever the weather. A new campus building has already taken shape, with families showing up to work, build and care for this place together. Your gift helps that work continue.

  • Our Children's Learning Kitchen

    Where the harvest becomes nourishment

In Kinderforest, Ms. Melodie and Ms. Elizabeth are turning the harvest into magic: baking, cooking, creating and learning together around a new propane stove. Oxymels, pickled cabbage and warm soups, made with a donation from Trout Lake Farms, have been nourishing the children and the lucky visitors who pass by. Your support keeps the pantry stocked and the propane tank full, so children can keep learning with their hands, sharing meals and caring for one another.

This is our largest fundraiser of the year

Every gift, no matter the size, goes directly to the children, teachers and land that make Heartsong thrive. Because of you, a child will spend another year outside: building forts, tending a garden, learning to read under a tree, and growing up in a community that sees them fully.

Thank you for helping us build this village.
